Hi, I’m Louise

Photography has been my passion for over 30 years, ever since I was gifted my first camera by my dad. I started in the darkroom, and that spark of creativity has only grown stronger over the years. For the past 14 years, I’ve been running a photography business, specialising in family portraits, children’s photography, school shoots, and capturing the essence of small businesses.

While I’ve always loved photographing people, recently I’ve been drawn to landscapes and nature photography. I’ve also discovered how powerful photography can be as a mindful, creative practice—something I’m really excited to share. With the rise of mobile photography, I’ve started helping others learn how to use their phones to take stunning photos, document everyday moments, and develop their visual storytelling skills.

I’m a published photographer, I’ve taught creative photography classes to children, and I’ve mentored Duke of Edinburgh students. I have a degree in Theology (because I’ve always been fascinated by life’s big questions) and spent my 20s living in America and traveling the world. Those years gave me a fresh perspective on life and a love for new experiences—and plenty of inspiration for my photography.

On the personal side, I live in the beautiful county of Yorkshire, I’m married and mum to three teenagers and we share our home with a wild cockapoo and tiny hamster. When I’m not behind the camera, I’m a trained positive psychology coach, passionate about travel, reading, walking, and living mindfully. I love vision boarding, manifesting, gratitude journaling, and of course, spending time at the beach.
